About Sophie Sohval, M.D.
I am a hospitalist at Weill Cornell Medicine, where I am committed to patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine. Within hospitalist medicine, I am interested in point-of-care-ultrasound (POCUS) and medical education among medical students and residents.
Dr. Sophie Sohval is an academic hospitalist at Weill Cornell Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and went on to complete her internal medicine residency and chief residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her clinical and research interests include value-based care, feedback culture and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS).
